When it opened, it was a 15-story building with an excellent location, which was very impressive. It could overlook the bustling city and the scene of the train station. Although the former glory has long gone, sitting in this restaurant, accompanied by the piano music, the scenery outside the window, and the same delicious food in front of me, I unconsciously felt like I was back in the past.

We were greeted by Madhushika who made our dining experience very nice and welcoming. We quickly settled on the paella as I had been wanting to try this dish. We loved it as it was a nice change from the spicy dishes we had been eating for a long time. The dish was beautifully presented and served on a boat shaped plate. We loved the decor, the food and the friendliness of the staff. The prices were quite affordable and very much what you would expect from a first class restaurant.

The air conditioning in this lounge is good, it is cool but not cold, it is a perfect oasis away from the sweltering heat in Colombo. Our dessert this time is the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie is baked to perfection and melts between your lips and teeth.
